I’ve been to Siam Station Thai Street Food twice now, and both experiences have been absolutely amazing! This has easily become one of my favorite Thai restaurants. The first time we visited, we ordered the egg rolls, chicken pot stickers, a glass noodle dish with shrimp, and my husband had the chicken cashew dish. Everything was delicious, and we ordered our food extra spicy, which was perfect! The second time, we wanted to try something different. My husband ordered the curry chicken, and I had the spicy basil fried rice with steak. You can choose whichever protein you’d like, and the steak was SO good. Of course, we had to get the chicken pot stickers and egg rolls again too! What really makes this place stand out, though, is the service. Both times we visited, the service was absolutely amazing. There was a gentleman who helped us both times, and I really wish I remembered his name because he truly deserves recognition. When we came back for our second visit, he actually remembered us and brought out the spicy hot sauce without us even having to ask! We were very disappointed with the food quality at Siam Station, especially considering the price point. We ordered two duck curries (over $20 each), but both dishes were essentially bowls of oversweet coconut curry soup with very little meat. Most of the duck pieces in my bowl were just fat duck skin. When we brought this to our server's attention, they simply stirred the bowl and dismissed our concerns rather than checking with the kitchen. The server adamantly said: “See, a lot of duck”. Duck meat is fairly cheap. If they do this to cut cost on this dish, it’s not hard imagine what they do to other dishes. Beyond the food, the interior design creates a very loud, echo-heavy environment. The smooth surfaces throughout the restaurant reflect every sound, making it nearly impossible to have a conversation without shouting. For a new business, the lack of customer service and poor value was surprising. We won’t be returning.

We enjoyed our experience overall. The roti with curry tasted good but was hard to eat, since the curry is thin and doesn’t cling well to the roti. The pad Thai was good; nothing out of the ordinary. The moo ping and sticky rice was delicious, but the pork portion is a bit small and the sauce is an acquired taste. Service is efficient.

Walked in here recently because we were doing a grocery run in Irvine and I needed a quick bite. We usually judge a Thai place by their sausage. I'm usually used to the savory, rich type, so the sour taste here was different, but honestly, it was still really good. ​My wife got the crispy pork, she was hoping for pork belly, but it leaned more towards tenderloin. Still tasty though. I got the Duck Curry, which was excellent. It was thick and flavorful (not watery like other places) and the lychee was an awesome surprise. ​Another really good surprise: They had the traditional Isan sauce, Jeow Som, right on the spice rack. That's a legit touch you don't always see. Not the absolute best I've ever had, but definitely great food for the area. No complaints!

had very high expectations for this Thai restaurant, and after waiting for a while, I finally got to try the food for the first time last Sunday. The staff were generally friendly, and as expected from a newer restaurant these days, the place was clean and had a modern vibe. The disappointing part was that it felt too Americanized, so I couldn’t really experience the traditional culture of Thailand. The Pad Thai and crab fried rice were both satisfying in terms of quality and portion size, but the Pad Thai was overly sweet. They also don’t serve beer or wine yet, which is another reason I’m hesitant to go back. Overall, it’s a restaurant that gets the basics right, but it’s not particularly charming or memorable.
